Darwinia is a spectacular strategy game in real time. The world of Darwinia could be defined as a virtual theme park, which is run within an IT network built by Dr Sepulvedra. The inhabitants of this world are small, sensitive shapes, called Darwinians, which are the result of decades of genetic algorithm investigation.

Now the world of Darwinia is in danger, its systems have been invaded by a viral infection. Unfortunately this virus has multiplied and is now out of control. Your role in Darwinia is to destroy all the viral infection and protect the inhabitants from extinction.

You have to be very careful, as the Darwinians can`t be controlled directly, you can only influence them via the creation of programs like Plantel and Engineers, which you can access to control these beings or use weapons, which will allow you to achieve your aims.

The Darwinia graphics remind you a bit of the games from the 1980s like Tron and others. The Darwinia control system includes new elements, but it is still intuitive and you will quickly learn to use it. Will you miss out?
